Since 2020, Newburgh Sanctuary has grown from a shared vision into a thriving community hub—a place where land stewardship, food access, youth leadership, environmental education, wellness, arts, and culture naturally intersect.

The morning started with rain but that didn’t stop our community from coming out to Quassaick Creekfest at Crystal Lake.

Spend your Sunday at Crystal Lake with music, movement, art, food, and outdoor fun for the whole community.

In just a few days, Crystal Lake will come alive with outdoor adventure, music, movement, community science, environmental exploration, and activities for all ages.

We’re gathering at Crystal Lake for a celebration of the waterways, cultures, creativity, and people that make our community special.

What an unforgettable summer day! To every volunteer, performer, artist, partner, vendor, youth leader, donor, and neighbor who joined us for We Love Crystal Lake, Thank You.

Don't miss We Love Crystal Lake: Summer of Love Celebration, today Saturday, July 11 from 3–8 PM. Check out our lineup!

Music has the power to bring people together across generations, cultures, and experiences. This year's celebration features artists whose work reflects the values at the heart of Newburgh Sanctuary: community, creativity, culture, and connection.

Summer is in full bloom, and we can't wait to gather with you for an afternoon of music, culture, wellness, and community at Crystal Lake. Our Summer of Love Celebration is a chance to reconnect with neighbors, enjoy the beauty of the land, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that makes our community so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last month to expand our pollinator corridors on both land and water at Crystal Lake. Together, families and neighbors planted a beautiful variety of native species.

The Newburgh Sanctuary is thrilled to announce the return of its We Love Crystal Lake event series with a vibrant Summer Celebration on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
