Summer is in full bloom, and we can't wait to gather with you for an afternoon of music, culture, wellness, and community at Crystal Lake. Our Summer of Love Celebration is a chance to reconnect with neighbors, enjoy the beauty of the land, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that makes our community so special.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson and our additional sponsors, Central Hudson and the City of Newburgh council members Ronald Zorrilla and Tamika Stewart.
Live Music & Dancing
Bring your dancing shoes and youjoyful spirit as we welcome live performances and full on dancing! Throughout the afternoon, music will fill the sanctuary with rhythms that invite connection, movement, and celebration.
Community Meal
Food has a beautiful way of bringing people together. We are grateful to share a delicious community meal prepared by Sabores de mi Tierra, offering an opportunity to gather around the table, meet new friends, and strengthen community bonds.
Explore with Outdoor Promise
Take a guided community hike led by Outdoor Promise and discover the beauty, ecology, and stories of Crystal Lake. Whether you're a longtime visitor or experiencing the sanctuary for the first time, this walk offers a meaningful way to connect with the land and each other.
Wellness & Creativity
Discover a variety of family-friendly offerings designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy nature-based art activities, tarot card readings, free haircuts, kayaking, wellness experiences, and community thrifting opportunities. Whether you're creating, reflecting, exploring, or simply connecting with others, there will be something for all ages to enjoy.
Volunteer & Celebrate With Us
Help make our July 11thSummer of Love Celebration a success! We're looking for volunteers to assist with setup, guest sign-in, and event breakdown.
Whether you can give an hour or stay for a shift, your support helps create a welcoming day for our community.
Summer Garden Hours Are Here
The Sanctuary is buzzing with life, and summer is one of the most active times of the year. Stop by to connect with the land, lend a hand, harvest fresh produce, or simply enjoy the beauty of the garden. We welcome volunteers, neighbors, and friends of all ages to be part of this growing community.
