We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey—Newburgh Sanctuaryis becoming newly incorporated as a nonprofit organization. This step strengthens our ability to care for the land, grow food and flowers, nurture youth leadership, and expand community-rooted healing at Crystal Lake for years to come.
This has always been a collective effort—and now, we’re inviting you to help sustain it in a deeper way. To celebrate this new chapter, we’ve launched our new website—making it easier to learn about our work, become a member, and stay connected.

To support the long-term care of Newburgh Sanctuary, we’re launching a monthly membership model rooted in shared responsibility, reciprocity, and care for both people and land.
Memberships help fund:
Garden maintenance & seasonal plantings
Youth programming & workshops
Community events and stewardship efforts
Access to fresh, locally grown food, flowers, and herbs

🌱 Steward Membership
$10 / month
One CSA-style share (vegetables, flowers or herbs)
One pick-up per month, Beginning of June – End of October (6 months)
1 free monthly workshop or event (May–October).
🌼 Guardian Membership
$25 / month
Two CSA-style shares (vegetables + flowers or herbs)
One pick-up per month, Beginning of June – End of October (6 months)
Annual donor recognition
Small thank-you gift

Host one free 1–3 hour event (up to 30 people) once per year

Join us for a winter hike to the summit of Snake Hill, a hidden gem in the heart of Newburgh, NY. This community hike by Outdoor Promise brings neighbors together for an unforgettable outdoor experience filled with movement, connection, and breathtaking views.
Bundle up, bring a friend, and experience the beauty of our local landscape in winter. All ages welcome. Free Transportation provided from Liberty and Broadway.
